Would you welcome him back?

Well it appears he’s managed to get his name in the paper once again, as reports a few days ago claim Roberto Mancini is ‘open to offers’ for there £25 million summer signing Samir Nasri.

Reports claim Mancini was not impressed by the 24-year-old’s performances and although he is not transfer listed, the Italian is open to listen to offers for the creative midfielder.

We are aware that Arsene Wenger is still a fan of Nasri and although nothing has been said in relation of a move back to Arsenal it could, potentially, be a possibility for Arsenae as he was disappointed with losing him originally.

Personally, I think Nasri has burnt bridges and I for one wouldn’t welcome him back to the club. I firmly believe it would be the wrong message to send out if we were to bring him back. Nasri has well and truly alienated himself from a large majority of the Arsenal faithful prior his move to City and since then has slated the Gunners and rubbed City’s title win in the faces of every single Arsenal supporter.

Let’s be honest though, I don’t think City would sell him back to us anyway, as they could see it as strengthening a rival. More realistically, it could interest the likes of Inter Milan, who were reportedly interested in him last summer. However much will depend on if they decide to sell Wesley Sneijder or not. PSG also remains a possibility in my view. I think these are more likely to ensue rather than Arsenal re-signing him, especially after everything that has happened. There is also no way that we would offer him the same wages that he is currently on, and I can’t see $amir Na$ri doing something that didn’t benefit him in some way.

Will I be glad to see the back of him from the Premier league if he does go? Yes, without question. I would be the one helping to pack his bags and send him on the first flight with Nicklas Bendtner!

But let’s put this matter up for debate. If Arsenal DO announce that they are interested in re-signing Nasri, would he be a player, after everything that has happened, you’d welcome back with open arms?

Get over nasri, he left for a better team, so get of with the money thing, when a player joins arsenal from a smaller team no one mentions that, arsenal are pathetic he’s at a far better club, and please don’t tell me about your history or how arsenal were a good side a few years back, good luck getting 4th next season

Yeah people have been saying that for years buddy. We were supposed to be relegation material last season.Yet here we are in Champs League…again. City did play well despite bending the Fiar play rules so far out of shape that they now resemble a pretzel. But how many starts for Nasri? Yes indeed you are the new Chelski buying every title you can. this isn’t a team that has been built just bought. And when the Arab’s pull out (as they evetually will)it will be amusing to watch a Leeds like crash and burn

what a stupid article. It doesn’t matter what you think because he’s not leaving City.

Also, in your first sentence, it’s “their”, not “there”

  • Door Gunner says:

Please please stop giving the grubby little mercenary any publicity. Lets him sink into obscurity as so many players have done after leaving Arsenal. Anyone remember Hleb or Flamini?

We still have a long season ahead and know we can do it with 2 or 3 additions. I for one fear no challenge. #believe

Nasri did not burn the bridge. It’s the over emotional arsenal fans that did. If a club wants to sell a player for non performance would it be called bridge burning? of course not. But once a good player wants to leave for his own long term goal (which is business)then problems of fans come in.Please don’t even think of coming back nasri you have a great future ahead of you. Score more goals for france (i see where the beef is)

  • Chad says:

City won’t be selling Nasri unless someone comes in with an offer of £35m or better.

Why are you gooners so bitter?

They just cant stand the sight of another club winning things. They are the same as their cockney United mates, Like two peas from the same pod. Its just a choice of which colour red.

I pray everyday that Nasri dies. He is a cancer and an ingrate. Man City would have won with or without him. With apologies to my persian friends but he’s a no good sand nigga. Fuck him forever.
