Would you welcome him back?

Well it appears he’s managed to get his name in the paper once again, as reports a few days ago claim Roberto Mancini is ‘open to offers’ for there £25 million summer signing Samir Nasri.

Reports claim Mancini was not impressed by the 24-year-old’s performances and although he is not transfer listed, the Italian is open to listen to offers for the creative midfielder.

We are aware that Arsene Wenger is still a fan of Nasri and although nothing has been said in relation of a move back to Arsenal it could, potentially, be a possibility for Arsenae as he was disappointed with losing him originally.

Personally, I think Nasri has burnt bridges and I for one wouldn’t welcome him back to the club. I firmly believe it would be the wrong message to send out if we were to bring him back. Nasri has well and truly alienated himself from a large majority of the Arsenal faithful prior his move to City and since then has slated the Gunners and rubbed City’s title win in the faces of every single Arsenal supporter.

Let’s be honest though, I don’t think City would sell him back to us anyway, as they could see it as strengthening a rival. More realistically, it could interest the likes of Inter Milan, who were reportedly interested in him last summer. However much will depend on if they decide to sell Wesley Sneijder or not. PSG also remains a possibility in my view. I think these are more likely to ensue rather than Arsenal re-signing him, especially after everything that has happened. There is also no way that we would offer him the same wages that he is currently on, and I can’t see $amir Na$ri doing something that didn’t benefit him in some way.

Will I be glad to see the back of him from the Premier league if he does go? Yes, without question. I would be the one helping to pack his bags and send him on the first flight with Nicklas Bendtner!

But let’s put this matter up for debate. If Arsenal DO announce that they are interested in re-signing Nasri, would he be a player, after everything that has happened, you’d welcome back with open arms?

    • ARSENAL4LIFE says:

piss off you glory hunting wanker, city are just a money club like chelsea

    • Sir Cecil says:

Totally agree. Just because some crummy newspaper makes up a story it doesn’t make it true. Samir wants to win things which is why he left Arsenal. These plastic Arsenal fans are worse than Uniteds unwashed hordes.

  • gooner says:

No, he can fuck right off.

    • chris from Cambridge says:

If the Mancini rumour of letting Nasri go is true (?) … it confirms Nasri is a very nasty piece of work who disunites clubs. I would just luv it if he was shown the door.

Chris don’t panic sonny. He wouldn’t want to leave a successful club and with fans like yours who would want to join them? You are the most spiteful vicious, ignorant fans I have ever come across.

Walcott and van Persie will be gone soon too. Don’t worry though Whinger will keep buying up other clubs young talent hoping it will eventually work out right.

  • Lee says:

Haha why would he go to arsenal again, there not a rival, there rubbish, arsenal are gone no one cares about them anymore

    • Grammar Police says:

“they’re” not “there”, idiot! if noone cares about them then stop commenting, idiot!

      • Rob says:

        @ Grammar Police

        “if noone cares” ??

Don’t you mean “if no one cares”

Throwing stones in glass houses is never a good idea my friend.

      Arsenal are gone?

1 title in how many years? Class is perminant. Jog on muppet

      • chris from Cambridge says:

It is Wenger who has gone and in fact would never have arrived if he had not inherited a real defence which really knew how to defend. We are stuck with him till 2014.

      • Sir Cecil says:

Yes Arsenal are very classy. Do you exhibit that in your trophy cabinet? All hype and very little else with a whinging Manager who never takes any responsibility for his many failings. You’re not even London’s best team.

      • 8-2 in your Cup Final! says:

thinking of getting your hair done? How about putting a perm in it?

    • clauddd says:

it took city 5 years and over half a billion pounds to win 2 trophies, and one of them was by goal difference, and lets face it you won those mainly with players from arsenal. If you ask me thats not an achievement

      • Sir Cecil says:

Keep taking the tablets. Fact is that you would have loved Arsenal to have been spending the same amount on your club but the problem is you have a bank manager not a football manager. Loves balance sheets not team sheets.

    • j malow says:

attn mr lee you must be on another planet city bought the leaque unlike arsenal we r legend the invicibles get it .ANYONE CAN WIN THE LEAQUE WITH MONEY FOOL …………………

      • Sir Cecil says:

Arsenal have bought their fair share of titles. Bergkamp, Henry, Vieira, Dixon, Keown etc etc were hardly from the youth side for starters.

You illiterate lot though believe any old hype that you are fed. 8-2 from United. Now that is embarrassing.

How did you get on against mighty Birmingham again?

        Arsenal the indenials.

      • 8-2 in your Cup Final! says:

So when are Arsenal going to start spending money to win the title? Or go on tell me you don’t want to win anything.

    • J13 says:

So city won once in god knows how many years after spending close to 1.5 billion and you think arsenal is crap?we’re still paying for a stadium, achieved top 4 every season spending the least amount as compared to other major clubs and still is the ONLY club EVER to be undefeated 49 times..name me another club with THAT trophy..so shove what you say up yours mate

  • maslow says:

letz just 4get dat ingrate nasri he is useless being

    • 8-2 in your Cup Final! says:

  • Wes says:

Fuck off! There is no way that little prick is coming back! If he does I’ll run him over!

    • 8-2 in your Cup Final! says:

A cyber warrior. Scarey. Get back on your playstation sonny. Its not real you know and with threats like that you could find yourself in deep do dah. Mind you probably can only drive a playstation car.

  • Tawaf says:

    Fuck u cashri…u t0rmented us..tru g0onerat0rz,.n0way u’ll b bk….

  • GoonerDave says:

    No way.
There is no way he could possibly come back now. I dont hate him at all, I stopped caring the minute he left our club.
I suggest some of my fellow gooners do the same – he wasnt consistent, had a poor attitude and though obviously talented, was unable to step up when we needed him.
His comments are actually a great indicator of his affection for the club, and I suspect, major regret. Why else would he feel the need to constantly justify his move?
Move on lads, he plays for City now, we have our own players who deserve far more of our attention than someone who left the club in an acrimonious manner.
Good luck to you Samir, we do not want you or need you anymore.

    • ryan says:

“Why else would he feel the need to constantly justify his move?”

Probably because you Arsenal fans and the media can’t get over it.

    • Sir Cecil says:

He wouldn’t return to Arsenal. He wants his career to progress not go backwards. Maybe he will show you his Champions medal if you ask nicely. The Arsenal players City don’t want can show you their League Cup Runners Up medals.

    • 8-2 in your Cup Final! says:

Adebayor, Fabregas, Toure, Clichy, Nasri, Henry, Vieira. Not got the message yet or are you really that slow witted?

  • Mike akpose says:

If he likes to come back, he shud come and finish his unfinished business in arsenal, we still want him. He left arsenal bcos of second class option and cheap player that wenger always go for.

  • Taaza says:

Wouldn’t welcome him back even if he came with titles strapped to his back for us…
Nasri has no doubt fallen out with many Arsenal fans. Seeing him return if he ever does would just be sickening.
