‘99%’ of the Yann M’Vila summer deal to Arsenal is done, according to Le Parisen journalist Julien Laurens.
The French publication claims that the Gunners will sign the 21-year-old for a club record of £17.7 million on a four-year contract after turning down the opportunity to join Milanese giants Inter Milan.
Though the move hasn’t yet been officially finalised, on Monday, Laurens broke the news to his followers, saying:
‘Very busy yesterday working on M’Vila story. Deal 99% done. 22 million euros, 4 years. Great signing for Arsenal and player is delighted.’
He added:
‘At the moment deal is done with Arsenal finishing 3rd, could slightly change if not but he will still sign. He chose Arsenal over Inter Milan.
‘I believe he will be perfect signing for Arsenal. Norwich game showed how team was too exposed at the back. He will be proper holding mid.’
Should the deal go through, it will be Arsene Wenger’s and Arsenal’s second early summer signing, having acquired the services of Lukas Podolski from FC Koln early last week.
Undoubtedly it would be a great signing for the club, one that will strengthen and add depth to our side next season. In addition, it’s good to see Wenger seal some deals before the start of Euro 2012, as prices for players could potentially inflate.
Hopefully there will be more to come as the days roll by.

I’ve just found FOUR mor articles from other papers and football media sites that all say Wenger has denied a fee has been agreed. One has even quoted Wengers as saying ‘It is not true a fee has been agreed for M’Vila. We are not close to signing anybody right now’.
So are THESE four media outlets not to be believed too?
Let me state something right here and now. I LOVE ARSENAL FC. I probably go to more games than most of you and watched every single game this season to the last second of FT. I would LOVE for us to sign M’Vila but that’s not going to make me just blindly believe some French asshole on Twitter trying to get attention or some devious agent trying to get more money for his player like all you retards are doing. The reason I get so angry with these stories about confirmed signings and fees agreed and people believing them is because I am sick and tired of having my hopes dashed by all these greedy fame hungry bullshitters when they ultmately turn out to be wrong and make the manager and the club and the fans a laughing stock to everyone else and it pisses me off to know we have so many idiot fans who show they know nothing about how this great club operates or how the world of football works.
So stfu and smack your deluded denial filled heads and show some intelligence. Only Spurs fans should be this stupid to believe this crap.
