The most ridiculous claim this former Gunner has come out with so far?

Well I’ve gone a few weeks without saying it, but what a complete ARSEnal Nasri is!

Some may find this harsh, but Samir ‘I went for money’ Nasri recently declared:

‘At Arsenal, I played too much.’

Now at Arsenal the most games he played in a season was 46, this was also his best season at the club. Now with 10 games to go in the Premier League, the French midfielder has played appeared 35 times for Manchester City, so how the hell did we play him too much at Arsenal? I just don’t get it.

The 24-year-old maintains that the reason he left Arsenal for City last summer was to win trophies as he stated back in August that ‘Arsenal can no longer compete for titles’…it’s amazing just how many trophies he has actually won since joining the Manchester club.

City failed to get past the group stages in the Champions League, with the club stating that they were unlucky and would go on to win the Europa League, which they crashed out of last week to Sporting! During this time they have also gone out of the FA and Carling Cup. They now currently sit one point behind Manchester United in the league after leading the flock for the majority of the season.

Nasri can only get his hands on the Premier League title, but with United in form and on top, it is looking like Samir Nasri and co. will not win anything this season. This would no doubt make every Arsenal fan on the planet laugh their heads off all the way to next season.

Nasri has brought criticism on himself and has already started to fall out of favour at City.

The France international stated:

‘I score less than at Arsenal, but I don’t have the same role.’

This is the first thing that he has said in a long time that actually makes sense. He does have a different role at City than he did at Arsenal and it must be really difficult to score from the bench.

Nasri finished off by saying:

‘I came here to win the title, play at the highest level and I’m improving.’

That maybe the reason why he went to City, to play at the highest level (Europa League) and apparently he is improving, ok Samir.

I would love to see just one stat that Nasri has improved on since he left Arsenal because the only one I could think of is that he sees more of the bench than the green grass.

Nice comments from an ingrate/ and a lazy player who want to earn good money , but didn’t want to work for it.let him keep improving on the bench,he’s simply an idiot,he should talk less and concentrate on his carreer that is heading for no trophy again, Samri and Man city will be beaten blue black at the Emirates, let him get ready for the humiliation of his life.

Regardless of the general feeling about Nasri,
ANY unbiased follower of football would have been impressed with his display for City against Chelsea last night.
(Only watched the game because Everton v Arsenal wasn’t on TV!).

I agree, however if you cannot rate a player based on 1 game, if you could then look at Torres against Leicester….then take a look at the entire season. Doesn’t seem to be as good a deal now does it?

  • Essien isaac says:

Dont u guys think that for the fact that he cant stop talking about arsenal, hes also doubting the credibility and verisimility of his move? I think nasri has one regret, same regret adebayor is having… The regret of leaving at war wit arsenal fanz. I could see adebayor trying to correct that in their 5- 2 loss at the emirates. I see nasri trying to do same. Its like henry and kolo toure said… ‘its a family club’,… And…’U cant play for arsenal without strings attached’

Na$ri hadn’t even heard of Man City before the oil rich arab took it over….

  • yaseen says:

We have the OX and walcott which produce more than nasri and make more of and impact….nasri will be useless in 2 seasons to come and will prob be sold by mancity to a lower club or outa the premier league cause as far as i can see CITY will be buying even more if they dont win title

  • Tunde aka asene wenger says:

Who ever leave arsenal with trouble always strogle so ungle nasri be homble

  • AFC says:

So if Nasri went to the world cup and had to play every game would he complain then. Even though there are less matches being played, i don’t hear many other stars(I said stars unlike Nasri which he is not yet) complaining like this F**L

  • Uk says:

Its funny how the writer tries to say arsenal didnt overplay him because he’s currently played almost as many games at city as he did in his most played season at arsenal, yet goes on to mock him for being a bench warmer at city, quite contradictory.
Thats wat happens when bias clouds reasoning &you start saying rubbish. He knows minutes on the pitch is wat the boy is talking about but is too bias or maybe jealous to agree.
Fact is nasri is still waiting to be proved wrong. City’s out of europe, so are we. City’s out of the domestic cups, so are we. City’s competiting for the league, we were out of it after 3months. If i was nasri i know where i’d rather be. &to be paid handsomely for it? No-brainer.

Amazing how many Arsenal fans hate the idea of Moan United winning the league but would prefer it to the Arab Moneybags City winning it.
Sad to see so many ex Arsenal players sinking down to Man Citys level.
    Kidd,Platt,Viara,Marwell,Toure,and Clichy.
Just right for Nasri, all he needs is Evra to join him, Imagine the French team might then become good again by leaving them to be the rotten apples in the Man City stink pot.
