Matias Suarez’s agent has warned Arsenal that they will face stern competition for the Anderlech striker this summer.
The Gunners have reportedly sent out chief scout Steve Rowley to make regular checks on the 23-year-old Argentine this season.
Suarez has been in scintillating form for Anderlecht, bagging 10 goals and 8 assists in 19 Pro League appearances for the Belgian outfit so far this season, thus sparking major interest from a number of top European clubs.
However, Suarez’s agent, Jorge Cyterszpiler, was quoted in the Daily Mail saying that there is a lot of interest in the reported Arsenal target, with both Manchester clubs also said to be keen on the young striker:

‘The player has attracted interest from clubs in England and Italy.
‘Liverpool have been spoken about but both Manchester clubs are also watching him. Juventus also have a chance to sign him.’
Cyterszpiler finished off by saying:
‘In April I will be in Italy to discuss his future. In the summer he will certainly move on but Anderlecht won’t let him go for cheap.’
I also read a couple of days ago that Barcelona have even entered the race for Suarez!
Now I must admit, I don’t really know anything about the fella, but I do know that if both Manchester clubs, Juve, Liverpool and Barca are vying for his signature this summer then he must be one hell of a player!
Let’s see what transpires with this. But to be honest, I would prefer us to chase up Podolski rather than fight off a number of clubs to acquire Suarez.
