Fulham have snapped up Danish starlet Lasse Vigen Christensen after failing to impress at Arsenal.

The 17-year-old was handed a four-day trial with the Gunners last month and despite the north London club passing up the chance to sign him, The Denmark Under-17 international was grateful for the opportunity that he had been given.

He was quoted on tribalfootball.com saying:

‘It was a massive experience for me to stay and train four days at Arsenal. I trained with the Under 18’s and I think things went quite well. The standard and intensity was very high.

‘I coped quite well so it was just great. I regard the whole trip as a good learning experience and keep many good memories.’

Christensen, who rejected the chance to remain in Denmark with title-chasing side FC Copenhagen, will now move to Fulham from FC Midjtylland and is expected to feature in their reserve side as he adapts to life in England.
