Paraguayan youth star wants Arsenal shot

Paraguayan youth star Enzo Prono (the left one in the picture) reportedly wants the chance to play for Arsenal.

The 19-year-old forward, who is also a first year law student, has made a great start to the Clausura with his club Sol de America, bagging 3 goals in 7 starts so far, and believes that he has a similar style of play to that of Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao.

Prono recently told Goal.com of his comparison to that of Falcao:

‘I liked playing that way [a lone striker] because you know all the moves. I think I am similar to him because of the way he plays, he is very good with his head.’

The 5’8’’ youngster, who is known for his intelligence and movement, has some form of experience in Europe after having several trials with clubs in Belgium and Italy, and admits that playing in the continent is a goal which he wants to achieve in his career. However, it appears that Prono wants to achieve this dream playing for Arsenal under Arsene Wenger, and is eager to emulate his idol Thierry Henry.

Talking about European football, the young striker said:

‘It was a good experience, I learned things. They work on that [passing of the ball], they work on that all day so that makes for a faster brand of soccer.’

He then went on to mention his love for Arsenal and the great Henry:

‘I would love to play at Arsenal. Thierry Henry was the best, for me he was the best striker ever.’

The north London outfit are known to have one of the best scouting systems across the globe, and whilst Prono isn’t currently on the Arsenal radar, if the Paraguayan youth star continues to impress then the Gunners may approach the wonderkid in the near future.
