Arsenal, along with Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United, are all believed to be tracking down Serbian youngster Nenad Lukic, according to sources.
The 18-year-old Lokomotiv Plovdiv midfielder made only 3 appearances for the Bulgarian club last season, but has represented his country at Under-17 and Under-19 level on a number of occasions.
Lukic was instrumental in leading Serbia’s Under-19 side to the 2011 European Under-19 Championship in Romania, which takes place later this month, by netting 6 goal in 5 appearances during the qualifying stages.
The 6’1’’ midfielder, who is thought to be valued at around £132,000, has been scouted over the past 12 months by the Gunners whilst representing his country rather than his club.
