Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a £4 million summer swoop for West Brom star Peter Odemwingie, according to the Daily Mail.
Arsene Wenger wants to reinforce his strike force this summer in order to take the goal-scoring burden off Robin van Persie, who netted 18 goals in 25 Premier League appearances for the Gunners this season, and sees the 29-year-old Nigerian as an ideal solution.
Odemwingie, who only has a year left on his current Baggies deal, impressed immensely in his first full season in England, scoring 15 goals in 32 appearances – finishing fifth in the goal scoring chart behind Carlos Tevez, Dimitar Berbatov, Robin van Persie and Darren Bent.
Though Roy Hodgson is desperate to keep hold of his star striker this summer, it will undoubtedly be a huge ask for the West Brom boss, especially with the lure of Champions League football and a dream move to Arsenal beckoning.
Would Odemwingie make a good addition to the Arsenal line-up?

no.
You have forgotten a few facts
1. WBA are ran within a 3 yr budget based on worst case scenario to ensure the club does not go bust. So, we do not nees to sell any player. such as turning down West Hams £5m offer for Dorrans last Summee
2. I don’t think you lot have come across Jeremy Peace. If you think he would accept £4m for a 15 goal tally player you are very mistaken. If the offer went to double figures, i think then the club would consider the offer.
I think thats what arsenal need for the moment,he can deliver,we scouted him right from lille and drop the case for no reason. Wenger this is ur opportunity if at all they will let him leave his club.
Wenger please make sure you finalize the deal by all means.
I don’t think he is the right player for Arsenal. Ok, he has played well this season and has been prolific in front of goal, but everyone needs to remember that it is his first season in the Premiership, every striker looks good there first season, we will see how good he really is next season.
a good buy he wld be buh d money involve is too small for peter.
£4m? Wtf!Damn 2 cheap 4 a highly rated player lyk dat.It shuld b double figures if arsenal realy wnt 2 buy.Or dy prefare fernando torres,who wnt 4 £50m
