Real Madrid plan £35M summer swoop for Arsenal talisman

|

Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez, is reportedly preparing a tempting £35 million summer offer for Arsene Wenger’s favourite pupil, Cesc Fabregas.

Perez is eager to join the race for the 24-year-old Spaniard and rival their arch-enemies Barcelona for the Arsenal captain’s signature this summer.

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of Fabregas, who is seen as the ideal solution to partner and compliment Xabi Alonso in the heart of Real’s midfield.

Evidently, Madrid’s proposed summer offer just widens the mystery of the ongoing transfer saga, and ultimately, gives Fabregas another possible destination, if he does decides to call time on his Arsenal career.

Will he choose his boyhood club? Or choose their fiercest rivals instead?

A move to Barca is highly more likely though as it is Fabregas’ boyhood club and hometown. As well as that, the creative midfielder would once again love to play alongside his close friends Gerard Pique and Lionel Messi, like he at the Catalan’s academy in the past. However, the Spaniard could still choose Madrid after being let down by Barcelona last season. Barca decided to call it a day and leave Fabregas in the lurch last summer after their £31 million offer was rejected by Arsenal.

Whether the bid was from Barcelona or Real Madrid is totally irrelevant, fact is, offers like these don’t swing by everyday and should seriously be considered no matter what.

Sell him, he is overpriced at £35 Million, he’ll go soon anyway for much less if we don’t act now.

if barca bound take the £35million and affellay and if real madrid take the £35 million and benzema

I think we should sell him, he doesn’t want to be at Arsenal anymore. I think though he won’t go to Madrid even if Arsenal agree a price, he clearly wants to go to Barca and nothing will stop him.

I think 35 million for him is too cheap. Arsenal should settle for no less then 50 million. If Torres is worth 50 million, then I’m sure he is worth the same, probably worth more. I agree we should sell him but not for cheap, I know this season he has not played well, but he is young and talented, therefore we should sell him at the right price and not for cheap.

I believe thiz is wot nasri is waiting 4 so he can sighn that contract otherwise hes going to leave n to my opinion fab should leave 4 i believe 40m which is good 4 a guy who has had a mixed season, bring in a natural left back in the name of ‘hazard’ 20m-25m will be enough and let nasri play in his favoured position as a playmaker, (rem when we started the season) .the other 15m can be used to bring in a central striker n that’s kevin gamiero, the guy has been consistent upfront with lorient 11in37,17in35 and this season 20in30 appearences.
