It has been reported that Arsenal are pursuing Sporting Lisbon’s Yannick Djalo this summer, according to Sportingo.
The promising 24-year-old, who is a product of the Portuguese clubs youth academy, has impressed immensely in the Europa League and at international level this season, and it is believed that the Gunners, along with other Premier League clubs, are said to be interested in the Portuguese forward’s services.
Djalo, who can also operate as a winger, has managed to bag 5 goals in 17 appearances for Sporting so far this season, and also won his first cap for Portugal last September against Cyprus.
Reports suggest that Sporting are looking in the region of at least £8 million for Djalo this summer, but would it be wise for Arsene Wenger to invest in the Guinea born front-man?

I don’t know too much about this player, but his recored looks average and personally I don’t think he is worth the money. Arsenal need to invest big, it’s as simple as that or forget about winning anything.

I’ll answer for Ken. I think we should try and sign Daniel Sturridge. There is no way that he is going to breakthrough at Chelsea while the £50m man is there so a cheeky bid might work.
Good shout, although if he can’t start for Chelsea you have to wonder if he would for Arsenal. I think we will require a winger if Arshavin is sold, but I can’t think of any good ones out there at the moment

Let’s hope our scouting department aren’t judging players by youtube videos. This is what really annoys me about football fans, they think they know it all. They watch a couple of youtube clips and think that they can make a judgement. Then they go on the internet and moan that we haven’t signed X or Y.
Good player, he´s got some flaws but with a youth oriented manager like Wenger he will be a serious case of football talent.
Yanick is one of the best portuguese players, but in 3/4 years will be the best in world!
He is much better than ronaldo and nani wanted him in Manchester.
Sporting shouldn´t sell him. If we want him sporting won´t sell less than the 30M clause.
I remember last year, when yanick play against Manchester City. Great game. Yanick and Carlos Saleiro. Great Players. We should bring yanick and also Saleiro. We will be champions with them!
