Why Aaron Ramsey shouldn’t feel envious of Jack Wilshere’s rise to prominence

|

Ramsey now believes he is back to his best, and will fight for a place in the Arsenal and Wales set-up:

‘I’ve just got to bounce back now. I’m confident in my ability and that I’m capable of playing week in, week out for Arsenal.’

‘Hopefully, I can do that now but I’m glad to be back and be part of it with Wales again. I feel like I’m back to where I was. I just want to look to the future and what I can do for the rest of the season. I hope to be playing a lot more games and show what I’m capable of – and show people you can come back from injuries like mine and still be the same player.’

‘I’ve had about 10 starts now since I started playing again back in November and I feel good. I’m ready to go again and prove to people what I’m capable of doing.’

Ramsey finished off by praising team-mate Jack Wilshere’s performances for Arsenal this season, and admitted the two have a bit of banter going on:

‘Jack’s done well. He went out on loan last season to Bolton and I think that helped him. He’s put in some really good performances for Arsenal this season. There’s been a bit of banter between us but I’ll keep that to myself!’

Ramsey has every right to feel envious of Wilshere’s rise to fame (I would too if I was in his shoes), but the Welshman should not let it affect him. Ramsey is a fantastic young player who still has the world at his feet; it was just unfortunate that he sustained such a terrible injury which kept him out of the game for several months.

I have no doubt that the talented midfielder will propel himself to where he was, or even further as the years roll by. Fact is, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere are the future of Arsenal, and I have no doubt in my mind that these two will consistently play alongside each other in the upcoming years.

Ramsey is a quality player and I’m sure he will be in the Arsenal line when he is fully back to his best. I agree with the writer when he says Wilshere and Ramsey will be the future of Arsenal.

Ramsey is just as good as Wilshere. Had he nit suffered his leg-break he would be the man in the limelight. However, Ramsey can still reach the same heights as Wilshere…he’s still only 20 years of age

Ramsey shouldn’t be envious simply because I think Aaron is better… the very fact I am saying that makes me excited that soon I honestly believe we’ll have two of the best midfielders in Europe.

I’m with you on this one mate. I truly believe that when they reach their mid 20’s they will be up their amongst be the best midfield pairings in the Premier League…maybe even in Europe
