Franck Kessie’s agent has revealed that he wants to stay at AC Milan despite speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal this summer.

The 23-year-old moved to the San Siro club from Atalanta in 2019 and has since established himself as a regular.

The Ivory Coast international has started 21 of AC Milan’s 26 Serie A games this season and manager Stefano Pioli views him as a key figure in his set up.

Since Pioli’s arrival in October, Kessie has impressed in AC Milan’s midfield and has seen him being linked with several clubs abroad as a result.

Arsenal, Wolves and West Ham are all believed to be keen on Kessie’s signature, but his agent, George Atangana, has dismissed any talk of an exit this summer from AC Milan.

Atangana told Calciomercato (via Metro):

“I remember that we joined Milan when they were a gamble, we did it because this is a club that has always meant a lot to us.

“Now there is a project under development and for this reason, the present leads me to think that the future can also be red and black.

“We are in one of the most important clubs in the world, which certainly does not experience the moment of greatest splendour, but which intends to revive itself.”

The Gunners have been linked with several players already this summer and although Mikel Arteta will want to improve and strengthen his squad ahead of next season, it remains unclear as too how much the Spaniard will have to spend in the next transfer window.
