Arsenal fans are at odds with each other over a potential midfield signing that would see Unai Emery link up with one of his former players.
Christopher Nkunku is reportedly for sale at Paris Saint-Germain, and following the Gunners’ pursuit of the youngster last winter, the French champions are said to have made him available for £13.5m.
Arsenal were thought to have wanted to purchase the 21-year-old on loan in January – with PSG only interested in a permanent deal.
While some supporters see the deal as value-for-money, others believe he would not be an upgrade on the current options in centre-midfield – although as an added option from either wing, his versatility may suit The Gunners with the finances as tight as they are.
But with a little more money in the bank, and PSG apparently having to offload players in order to comply with FFP requirements, Arsenal could yet be in again to bring the France Under-21 international – rated at £10.8m – to The Emirates this summer.
However, his potential signing has divided the fans as the tweets below show – leaving Emery set to make an unpopular decision whether or not he continues his efforts to bring Nkunku to the club:
Take it. He’ll be worth double in a couple years

If we are going to sign players like Nkunku, we will never back to the top level.
