Arsenal may be restricted in the transfer market this summer, but that doesn’t mean the fans have no intentions on being fussy about potential arrivals.
And some have demonstrated that after a number of supporters reacted to the possibility of Unai Emery enhancing his summer kitty in order to finance a move for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha – by asking for more money from the club’s board.
Judging by the reaction, it seems as if some Gunners fans would be against any approach for the Ivorian – despite the club clearly in the market for a winger, having sought a deal for Yannick Carrasco in recent weeks.
Having arguably had his best Premier League season in the previous campaign – scoring 10 goals during 2018/19 – Zaha was once being quoted at being available for around £100m as The Eagles looked to stand firm and keep hold of their star man.
However, reports linking Zaha to an Emirates switch suggest that he could cost as little as £55m – albeit a sum still larger than the entirety of Arsenal’s reported budget.
It seems that most supporters would rather spend a little more wisely – especially with the likes of Hakim Ziyech reportedly available for around £30m:
What do we need zaha for

Why don’t we just bid for Martial instead?

I rather we sign Ziyech (cheaper and by better)

Let’s hope the Sun is wrong again. Better, cheaper options out there for me. #afc. Ps. Must keep Torriera.

Palace wanted to sign Chambers previously. Throw him and reduce that amount by atleast £20 M.

Get rid of Ozil and this should do it with his wages and transfer fee!
