Barcelona are reportedly interested in a move for Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette.
The 27-year-old Frenchman was named Arsenal’s Player of the Year earlier this week and has supposedly attracted the interest of Barcelona who are said to be looking for a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
Marcus Rashford has also been identified as a possible target but United are keen to extend his stay at Old Trafford and will want at least £130 million to consider a sale. With that deal looking unlikely, the Express, as reported by Metro, claim the Catalan club have set their sights to Lacazette and were impressed by his performance against Valencia in the Europa League last week at the Emirates.
Lacazette has netted 18 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions so far for the Gunners, and although the club’s only route to Champions League football next season is by winning the Europa League trophy, the lure of Barcelona may be too hard to turn down for the French striker, who is believed to have a good relationship with the La Liga club’s director, Eric Abidal.
