24-year-old Ricardo Pereira excelled on-loan with Nice in Ligue 1 this season but returned to parent club Porto this season. Back in Portugal, the versatile wide player has been ever present for the league title chasers this season.
Capable of playing on both sides of the defensive line and further forward as a winger, Pereira’s versatility would come in handy at Arsenal- particularly as they lack options on the left-side of defence and need support in the final third too.
His signature may prove to be costly but Pereira appears to be a ready made replacement or Hector Bellerin.
