Arsenal are set for a busy few months as the Gunners end another disappointing campaign, with all their eggs firmly in the Europa League basket as the north London side seek to return to the Champions League next season.
Difficult challenges don’t just remain on the field though, as Arsenal also face stern battles behind the scenes and one fight that’s attracted plenty of media attention is the contract of Jack Wilshere.
As things stand, the England international will leave this summer on a free transfer as he’s not happy with the renewal that Arsenal have offered and, whilst his preference is to remain with the Gunners, he’s not budging on his demands.
As such, The Daily Star report fellow Premier League outfit Everton lead the chase for Wilshere’s services this summer, despite interest from the likes of West Ham, AC Milan and Juventus.
Arsenal could still change that with a fresh offer but time is running out.
