Valencia may delay their attempt to sign Arsenal forward Theo Walcott until the summer, according to El Gol Digital.
Reports from Spain have suggested that the La Liga club may consider signing the 28 year old in the January transfer window to strengthen their forward line, but El Gol believes the Spanish side’s interest in Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gameiro could mean they hold off their pursuit of the England international.
Walcott has 18 months left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium but has been on the periphery of the first team this season. He has failed to start a single Premier League game this campaign, with just 46 minutes of action in total.
The Sun have linked the winger with moves to former club Southampton as well as West Ham, but El Gol report that the Englishman is interested in moving abroad. Whether than means he will wait until the summer when Valencia could make their move, it remains to be seen.
