Valencia may consider a move for Arsenal forward Theo Walcott in the January transfer window, according to Deporte Valenciano.

Reporter Toni Hernandez references recent reports in the English media that the Gunners may seek to offload the 28 year old, and believes that the La Liga high flyers may look to the England international as a possible recruit next month.

Walcott has struggled for game time in the Premier League this season, and has failed to start a single league match, leading to reports that both West Ham United and former club Southampton could sign the wide man.

In a press conference before Arsenal’s last Europa League group game against BATE Borisov last week, manager Arsene Wenger said he wanted the forward to stay at the club. Walcott subsequently staked his claim for a regular first team place by scoring and providing an assist in the 6-0 win over the Belarusian outfit.

His effort seemed to be in vain though as he was left out of the squad for the fifth consecutive Premier League game in the 1-1 draw against Southampton on Sunday.
