Trabzonspor are lining up a bid for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to the Sun.
The transfer deadline for Turkish clubs is tomorrow, and it seems the Super Lig side will make an offer for the 25 year old before the window closes.
With the player’s contract expiring in the summer, it will be the Gunners’ last chance of getting a transfer fee for the England international, with a new deal for the player not on the cards.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger does not see the player as part of his first team plans currently, but the Frenchman is believed to be open about the midfielder’s future, and is prepared to change his mind if he sees some impressive performances from Wilshere.
It’s likely those chances will come in Europe. Wilshere has been selected in the club’s Europa League squad, and he is now fit after a lengthy spell out with a broken leg he sustained whilst on loan at Bournemouth back in April.
