AC Milan are weighing up whether a move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is a good idea because of his poor injury record, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.

Sporting Director Massimo Mirabelli and CEO Marco Fassone are both believed to be fans of the England international and have kept tabs on the 25 year old, but they are also considering other central midfield targets.

Italian TV Station SportItalia have reported that the Rossoneri are looking at two players other than Wilshere in the Premier League with Crystal Palace’s Yohan Cabaye and Watford’s Etienne Capoue being tracked.

Wilshere has stepped up the recovery from his broken leg in the last week or so, having played for Arsenal Under 23s last Monday against Derby County in a 3-2 win.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has stated that he is planning to have Wilshere for the whole season despite the midfielder having less than 12 months to run on his contract, but things could change before August 31st.
