Arsene Wenger could lose THREE goalkeepers during the summer transfer window as Valencia express an interest in Emiliano Martinez.
The third-choice goalkeeper is reportedly wanted by the La Liga club having sold two shot-stoppers themselves and see the 24-yar-old Argentine as their new number one.
Martinez has struggled to compete with the likes of Petr Cech and David Ospina, making a handful of appearances in the minor domestic competitions since joining the Gunners in 2012.
The 6’4’’ goalkeeper has spent most of his time out on loan and a move to Valencia will no doubt be tempting knowing he will feature regularly for the Spanish outfit next season.
Wenger now faces the prospect of losing a trio of goalkeepers this summer with Ospina attracting interest from Fenerbahce, and Juventus eyeing up a move for Wojciech Szczesny.
Should Martinez decide to leave, Wenger will surely have to recruit at least one goalkeeper in the upcoming weeks to compete with Cech next season.
