It has been reported the midfielder will be put up for sale by his club once again this summer and the Portuguese newspaper state that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has asked his scouts to keep watching the Algerian international.
Brahimi was made available for transfer last season but after no club came in for the 27 year old, he was re-integrated into the first team squad in late September. He went on to make 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing four assists.
One of the major stumbling blocks in Brahimi’s sale is the fact he is part owned by a third party agency, Stellar Football Limited, who will expect a percentage of any transfer fee.
This will force Porto to push up their asking price in order to ensure they receive a high enough amount from Brahimi’s sale.
