Paris Saint-Germain have pulled out of the running to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, according to L’Equipe (via Get French Football News).

The French publication reports that PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi and Director of Football Patrick Kluivert travelled to London to have talks with Sanchez’s agent but they were told that the player is looking at only two options. He will either stay at Arsenal or seek to join Bayern Munich this summer.

Bayern are reportedly prepared to offer €25million a year to the Chilean international, a staggering figure which would amount to £424,000 a week. Arsenal are believed to be prepared to offer €22million a year or £372,000 a week.

Whether these astronomical numbers have any basis in truth, we will probably never find out, but what does seem certain is Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich is doing all he can to ensure he gets the best financial deal for his client.
