AS are reporting that Fenerbahce have switched their attentions away from Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina to Malaga’s Carlos Kameni.

The ex Espanyol stopper is believed to have been offered €1.7million a season by the Turkish club but the Cameroon international is said to be holding out for a €2million a year, three year deal. The differences between the two sides are not believed to be insurmountable though.

Malaga are looking to land Roberto on loan from Espanyol this summer, and would welcome Kameni’s departure to Turkey, according to AS. With the player and the club open to the sale, it seems like Kameni could well make the move at the expense of Ospina.

Fenerbahce’s deal for the Colombian is said to have faltered when Arsenal changed their demands after having initially agreed a reported £3m fee. With Ospina’s move to Turkey looking dead in the water, there doesn’t seem to be another club waiting in the wings to sign the 28 year old at the moment.
