Valencia have identified Francis Coquelin as a summer transfer target, according to reports in Spain.
AS say the 26-year-old could become surplus to requirements this summer as Arsene Wenger plans a revamp at the Emirates following a disappointing campaign.
Coquelin has been in and out of the Arsenal starting XI this season, although the French midfielder has racked up 34 appearances in all competitions, and it is now believed that Valencia are keen to sign him on a season-long loan before deciding whether to make it a permanent move.
Coquelin may not be keen on the idea of leaving the Emirates this summer, but he may have no choice if the Gunners splash the cash on new recruits during the transfer window.
The defensive midfielder has previously been sent out on loan on a few occasions already by Arsenal, and perhaps this could prove to be his final one from the Emirates this summer
