Arsenal are believed to be interested in making a summer swoop for Juventus’ Alex Sandro.

Transfermarketweb.com say the 26-year-old has become a subject of interest for many clubs around Europe, including the Gunners, following his impressive performances for Juventus this season.

The Brazilian, who primarily operates as a left-back but can also play further up the flanks, has made 31 appearances in all competitions so far this season for the Turin club and Juve are keen to tie him down to fresh terms while having a current contract until 2020.

Manchester City and Real Madrid are also reportedly keen on the former Porto player, who could command a fee in the excess of £30million if made available, having joined Juventus in summer 2015 for £22million.

Arsenal could do with reinforcements in the left-back position this summer with Nacho Monreal in decline as of late and Kieran Gibbs, to many, not up to standards for the north London club.
