Arsenal could miss out as Italians prepare £26m bid for playmaker

|

Juventus are hoping to seal a deal for Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso at the end of the season, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.

The Bianconeri attempted to sign the 22 year old in the January transfer window but Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has insisted that the Frenchman remain at the club.

Despite this, the Italian newspaper say Juve expect that an offer of €30m (£26m), plus bonuses, should be enough to close a deal for the midfield playmaker.

Tolisso has expressed his liking for Arsenal back in October when he said his “dream” would be to play for a club like the Gunners, Real Madrid or Barcelona. He also revealed his liking for the competitive nature of the Premier League and that it would suit his style of play.

At the moment however, Juventus are the club looking the most likely to do business for the Frenchman in the summer. The central midfielder has made 34 appearances this season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists.
