Arsene Wenger
Wenger will always be aligned with Arsenal. He is one of the greatest managers in the history of English football. However, this should absolutely be Wenger’s last season as manager of Arsenal, and quite frankly, this move is overdue by at least 2 years. Without even taking into consideration the 13 year drought since Arsenal have won the English Premier League, the Frenchman simply no longer has the ability to get players to buy into his system and style of play. Every year that Arsenal fail to win big trophies, every time that Arsenal are embarrassed by a multiple goal defeat to one of Europe’s truly elite teams, you can see the dejection on some players’ faces. The breaking point is rapidly approaching. Arsenal needs a fresh voice, and hopefully Wenger can understand that himself and retire before his exit is forcefully taken out of his hands.
