After Mundo Deportivo reported yesterday that Hector Bellerin will consider a move to Barcelona if Arsene Wenger decides to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, Italian newspaper Tuttosport have now said that Alexis Sanchez’s future could be influenced by the same decision.
Journalist Philip Cornacchia says that Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has decided a change a formation will be needed if he stays at the club next season, and he has prioritised Sanchez as a key summer signing for his new 4-2-3-1 system.
Allegri is also the front runner to takeover from Arsene Wenger at the Emirates if the Frenchman opts against signing a two year contract extension. If the Italian does move to the Gunners then Juve’s interest could cool, leaving the Chilean with one less option if he opts to leave the club.
Juventus are believed to be favourites for Sanchez because of their close relationship with the Chilean international’s agent Fernando Felicevich. Former Juventus player Arturo Vidal is also managed by Felicevich and Juve have kept in close contact over the years.
