Fourth team set to rival Arsenal for £25m ace

|

Sevilla have set their sights on Wolfsburg midfielder Julian Draxler, according to Bild.

The German newspaper reports that the Spanish club have enough money after qualifying for the knockout rounds of the Champions League and are now targeting a cut price deal for the 23-year-old.

Le Parisien in France and Bild in Germany both report that the midfielder is on the market for as little as €30million or £25million. Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be front runners for the German international while Arsenal and Juventus are also said to have expressed an interest in the player.

Draxler has been effectively frozen out at the Volkswagen Arena after being booed by his own fans when he came off the substitutes bench against Hertha Berlin a couple of weeks ago. He didn’t feature at all in Wolfsburg’s next league match against Bayern Munich and is unlikely to play any part in their match tomorrow against Eintracht Frankfurt.
