Injury woes pile up for Mourinho

|

Miserable Jose Mourinho could be without seven top team players for Saturday’s lunchtime showdown with Arsene Wenger.

The new Manchester United boss has had little to smile about since taking over from Lois van Gaal with the international break adding to his injury woes.

A 3-1 win away to Swansea should have lifted Mourinho’s spirits but the win was overshadowed by the former Chelsea bosses criticising Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw.

Both defenders look certain to be missing for the visit of Arsenal- with Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia also absent Mounrinho will have an entire back four sitting on the sidelines.

With or without his late night visit to a wedding reception Wayne Rooney has been given a 60-40 chance of being fit after pulling out of the England side that drew 2-2 with Spain

The suspended Zlatan Ibrahimovic will definitely be missing with Marouane Fellaini touch and go with a calf injury Mourinho will have plenty to ponder as he enjoys room service at the Lowry Hotel.
