There’s some very unwelcome speculation doing the rounds at the moment if you’re an Arsenal fan.
The rumour in question? That Alexis Sanchez could be about to leave Arsenal with Manchester City the favourites to take him from the club according to The Sun.
Of course, these are just rumours right now but this news will still no doubt worry Gunners fans given that the Chilean is arguably their best player and has once again been in superlative form this season for the club.
He’s been asked to lead the line for the Emirates side more this season with Olivier Giroud and Lucas Perez having their respective issues and has unsurprisingly excelled, helping launch the club into another title challenge.
If he was to leave, though, the impact could be devastating and so a strong back up plan needs to be devised as a precaution.
