AC Milan are interested in signing Jack Wilshere at the end of the season, according to reports in Italy.

The 24-year-old joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan over the summer, despite reported interest from AC Milan, as well as Roma, in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.

But Italian publication Corriere dello Sport claim the Rossoneri will revive their interest in the England international during next summer’s transfer window.

The Italian club will be hopefully that they can agree a deal with Arsenal for Wilshere after the midfielder admitted he may leave the north London club on a permanent basis.

Wilshere will have a year remaining left on his current deal at Arsenal when he returns to the Emirates, but he believes he may have no long-term future there – even though Arsene Wenger begs to differ.

Wilshere has struggled for fitness in previous seasons with Arsenal due to an occurring ankle injury, but the midfielder has managed to feature regularly for Eddie Howe’s side, starting seven out of 11 possible Premier League games so far.
