Arsenal and four other teams are reportedly eyeing up a move for Rennes winger Paul-Georges Ntep.

TransferMarketWeb claims that the 24-year-old is becoming increasing likely to leave the Ligue 1 club when the January transfer window opens.

His current deal at Rennes set to expire at the end of the season, meaning the French club may have little choice but to cash-in on the former Auxerre man, with Lazio, Southampton, Watford, Liverpool and Arsenal all potential suitors.

Ntep joined Rennes from Auxerre almost three years ago and has made nine appearances so far this season, contributing four assists along the way.

The Cameroon-born Frenchman predominately plays on the left wing but can also be deployed on the opposite side as well.

Arsenal were linked with a move for Ntep in the past, the Gunners may well decide to renew their interest in Rennes man once again when the winter window opens.
