Inter Milan are plotting a move for Alexis Sanchez after making the striker their number one transfer target.
Italian publication, Calciomercato, suggest the Serie A giants have money to spend and are targeting the Arsenal striker.
The 27-year-old Chilean has 20 months left to run on his existing contract at Arsenal and, despite lengthy discussions over a new deal, nothing has yet been agreed, given hope to those keen on his services.
Sanchez once again showed his importance to the Gunners after netting his seventh and eighth Premier League goals yesterday afternoon as Arsenal beat Bournemouth 3-1 at home.
Arsene Wenger remains confident that the Chile international will commit his future to Arsenal. But if Sanchez wishes to leave them Inter, as well as others, are ready to make a move.
