Alexis Sanchez
Sanchez is world class and should always be considered as someone who should make the shortlist for these kind of awards. When he plays he scores almost all of the time and that cannot be simply ignored whilst his work-rate and desire to win make him a cut above most. He won the Copa America with Chile, too, but what’s gone against him, it seems, is the fact that the likes of Messi, Suarez and Ronaldo are in the same position as him and so he’ll have to do something truly incredible to get in the list. You wouldn’t put it past him though.
