Arsenal look set to face Chelsea captain John Terry this weekend, with The Independent claiming that the Blues stalwart will be fit to play in Saturdays’ clash at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are on a run of three consecutive wins in the Premier League and will look to continue good for and dent a fellow title challenger’s hopes against the Blues at the weekend.

Terry was injured in the 2-2 draw against Swansea City recently and sat out his side’s 2-1 defeat against Liverpool on Friday night at Stamford Bridge.

This gave David Luiz an opportunity to play, with the Brazilian looking less than secure at centre-half alongside Gary Cahill, with no dominant force leading the West London side’s rearguard.

The latest report suggests that Terry will not be risked in tonight’s EFL Cup clash with Leicester City, but the former England international enforcer should take the field in this weekend’s London derby.
