Arsenal have made an offer of €50 million (£41.9 million) for Wolfsburg star Julian Draxler according to Tutto Mercato Web, with the Bundesliga side set to accept the bid.
The Germany international has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium for a number of consecutive transfer windows but has not become a Gunners as yet.
Draxler starred at Euro 2016 for his nation, winning a starting berth in Joachim Low’s star-studded team.
Since returning to his club, the former Schalke playmaker has made it clear that he wants to leave Wolfsburg, largely because they will not compete in this season’s Champions League.
Arsenal have been linked with Draxler again for the last number of weeks, but as yet there has been no talk of a move by Arsene Wenger’s men.
However, the report in the Italian media source suggests that the Gunners have now made their move and it is likely to be accepted by Dieter Hecking’s men.
