Good or bad news for Arsenal fans?

RamseyAaron Ramsey has once again reiterated his desire and ‘love’ to one-day play in La Liga.

The 27-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to Barcelona in the past, and Real Madrid have also been credited with reported in the Wales international.

And now, according to Spanish publication Marca, Ramsey has added fuel to the fire by confessing that playing in Spain is something that can ensue in the near future.

Quoted in talkSPORT, Ramsey said:

‘Barca plays very good football and Arsenal want to do the same.

‘I’ve said it once: I would love to someday play in La Liga, at one of the greats. I see their league each week. It suits my style.

‘Maybe I will someday, who knows what will happen in the future?’

Arsene Wenger highly rates Ramsey, although some sections of the Emirates faithful will not share the Frenchman’s views on the former Cardiff midfielder.

However, the Gunners do have a number of options in midfield, such as Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny and Mesut Ozil, and have also already added Granit Xhaka to the squad, so perhaps Wenger may decide to finally cash in on Ramsey – should either Real or Barca approach him this summer.

In the past, it was reported Barca were preparing a £60 million bid for Ramsey, but nothing materialized, even though many were hoping something did.

For some, Ramsey has not done enough to be considered a regular at Arsenal, me included, and would like to see the back of him.

Hopefully Barcelona are still keen on the Welshman and offer a fee too good to turn down, so he gets his wish of playing in Spain and we receive a substantial amount of cash which we can then utilize over the summer.
