Arsene WengerArsene Wenger’s could be asked to leave Arsenal, if the Gunners lose to Hull City in the FA Cup Fifth Round on Tuesday.

Arsenal have failed to win a game since Valentine’s Day and despite picking up a point against Spurs yesterday afternoon, Wenger remains under increasing pressure from a selected group of the Emirates faithful to deliver this season.

Arsenal are likely to be knocked out of the Champions League to Barcelona on March 16th, and if Arsenal fail to beat Hull City before this, the Daily Express reckons Wenger will be ‘invited’ to leave the club.

It is thought the decision to replace the 66-year-old is under serious consideration after Arsenal’s third successive defeat at home to Swansea last week.

The Daily Express also claim that should Arsenal even end up lifting the Premier League title at the end of the season, Wenger’s future may still be considered after loyal supporters turned on him which convinced directors that a change could be necessary.

However, I highly doubt Wenger will be asked to leave if Arsenal lose to Hull City this week. In fact, should the Frenchman fail to win anything this season, he will not be asked to leave the club, even if they supporters have turned against him. The only way Wenger will depart the Emirates is by his own accord.

Despite his lack of trophies over the past 12 years, nobody can deny Wenger’s legendary status and must be respected for revolutionising the club, and this is why he, and only he, will decide when his time is up at Arsenal.
