Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to snub a move to a rival London club and prove his worth at Arsenal.
The 22-year-old has been in and out of the Arsene Wenger’s side this season, and his form and performances have led to the England winger being linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer, despite having two-years left to run on his existing deal.
A number of clubs have been linked with a move for Chamberlain, including Chelsea and West Ham, and it is believed if he is made available they will attempt to sign him.
Many believe Chamberlain is at a crossroads at Arsenal and needs to revive his career elsewhere.
However, the former Southampton man is reportedly hesitant to join another London club due to his allegiance to Arsenal.
But should he put up for sale this summer, Chamberlain in likely to join a club up north or abroad, with Manchester United and Liverpool understood to be monitoring his situation, according to the Daily Mail.
Chamberlain’s main priority however appears to be proving his fitness and worth to Arsenal.
