Arsene Wenger will spend big-money on Inter Milan duo Mauro Icardi and Marcelo Brozovic, according to Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito
Several reports have suggested that Arsenal are eyeing up a move for Brozovic, while others claim Wenger is looking to add another striker to his squad, with Icardi being mentioned as a possible signing.
But Morabito has stated that the Frenchman will get out his cheque book to sign bother players in a bid to ensure Premier League glory this season.
As reported by the Daily Mirror, Morabito told Italian publication Corriere dello Sport:
‘Yes, [he is interested in them] especially the second [Brozovic].
‘Maybe something will happen because Wenger feels that this may be the right year to win the Premier League.’
If Wenger does want sign both players this month, then he will be looking at spending around £50 million on the duo.
However, with Alexis Sanchez set to return, its doubtful Wenger wants to sign a striker at all this month.
And as for a move for Brozovic, this again looks unlikely as the arrival of Mohamed Elneny from Basel would be enough midfield cover until Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla return from injury sometime next month.
