KokorinArsenal are ready to launch a second bid for Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin when the January transfer window opens, according to reports.

It was revealed over a week ago that the Gunners attempted to sign the 24-year-old Russian forward, who has netted five goals in 11 appearances for club and country so far this season, in the summer but failed to land him before the closure of the window.

Reports now claim that Arsene Wenger will renew his interest in Kokorin in January and are readying a £7 million bid.

Wenger was reluctant to sign a striker over the summer, opting to stick with what he’s got at his disposal at least until January.

But it is now believed the Frenchman is keen to bolster his attacking options with the busy winter schedule approaching and has targeted another move for Kokorin.

Kokorin’s contract at Dynamo Moscow is set to expire next summer and with no signs of an extension, Wenger could acquire the Russia international at a bargain price in January or on a free at the end of the season.
