Angel Di MariaThis is possible one of the craziest transfer rumours you are going to hear this summer – Arsenal are supposedly interested in Angel Di Maria.

The Argentine winger struggled to justify Manchester United splashing out £59.7 million last summer, with his future at Old Trafford now unclear.

It is believed Ligue 1 fat-cats Paris Saint-Germain are keen to sign the 27-year-old, but Arsenal have sensationally been linked with a move for the tricky winger as well, reports the Daily Mail.

Arsene Wenger is thought to be a keen admirer of the Argentina international and attempted to sign him on two previous occasions.

United would be reluctant to sell to one of their Premier League rivals, while his reported £280,000-per-week wages would certainly prove a stumbling block for the Gunners, with their highest earners – Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil – pocketing £140,000-a-week.

Nevertheless, the report suggests if Di Maria is acquirable, then the Gunners would be interested, provided a deal fits with their financial regulations.

As much as I would love to see Di Maria at the Emirates, it’s not going to happen. Firstly, united wouldn’t sell him to u. Secondly, he’s going to cost a fortune, both in transfer fees and wages. And last but not least, PSG would blow us out the water with the money they have at their disposal, ending ANY hope of signing Di Maria.

Nice try Daily Mail, but this is one deal that will not go through this summer.

This is no rumor because it is senseless . Arsenal will never ever pay 59 million for one player especially he could not prove himself at the premier league and playing for united , so what makes Arsenal believe he will be a magician to turn single handed Arsenal to be winners and have to pay that amount of moneny foe a single player We are neither Man City nor PSG.

I think it is stupid that teams make players sell for 4 times the amount they’re worth ! It is pointless in every sense ! Arsenal would never pay 60 odd million for 1 player that can’t prove himself at man u.
