Top football agent Muzzi Ozcan has told the Arsenal faithful that the Gunners are close to completing the ‘signing of the season’.
The German agent, who has strong connections to the Bundelsiga, has worked with Olivier Giroud in the past and recently helped Slaven Billic’s complete his move to West Ham.
And Ozcan newly took to his personal Twitter account to inform his followers that Arsenal are very close to completing a major signing this summer, claiming it will be announced in the coming days and refused to give any more information.
At 1.54pm today, the respected agent tweeted:
‘Arsenal will be making the transfer of the season ! The deal isn’t to far from being complete ! Will update in the coming days.’
Arsenal have been linked with a number of top targets in recent weeks, players like Karim Benzema, Morgan Schneiderlin and Mario Gotze.
But who could Ozcan be referring too?
Well since Ozcan has strong links to the Bundesiga and worked with Giroud in the past, I can only think he is talking about either Benzema or Gotze.
The Real Madrid forward has been mentioned with a move to Arsenal in recent days, with a reported £17.8 million bid launched.
While Gotze, who is said to be undervalued at Bayern Munich by his agent, has been surprisingly linked with a move away from the Allianz, and Arsenal are said to be interested in the German.
For me, Benzema and Gotze would both be viewed as the ‘transfer of the season’ as Ozcan describes. Hopefully this leading agent is talking about one of the two names mentioned above.
Most probably winger will select Benzma
Thomas Muller
OMG!! I can’t wait to see Benzema or Gotze @arsenalfc . #justhopefully
I believe Ozcan is talking about Benzima cos the striking position is where we need serious attention to be able to compete for
I would prefer Gotze
would prefer Higuain. DM more important.
Gotze and Benzima that will be a perfect sign for Arsenal and we will be unstoppable
I prefer gotze if we can manage to lure him to emirate
It’s Lacazette. Don’t ask me how I know, but you can thank me next week.
It is nice to be optimistic and think about real world class players joining Arsenal as we have waited for too long to get back to our invincible level .
