Reports in Italy suggests Arsenal must increase their offer to £36.4 million if they want to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli this summer.
The Argentine striker is thought to be on Arsene Wenger’s radar this summer, as the Frenchman looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season’s campaign.
A new striker coming into the Emirates looks to be on the cards this summer, with many believing a top quality and more consistent goalscorer will make the Gunners serious tile contenders next season.
Earlier in the week it was claimed Arsenal approached Napoli for Higuain with an opening offer of £29.4 million, but the Naples club declined this bid and are determined to receive a figure of £36.4 million in order to let the 27-year-old leave.
Napoli failed to qualify for the Champions League next season, which could have financial repercussions, but will not let their star striker depart unless the proposed fee is met.
Higuain still has three-years left to run on his existing deal at the San Paolo, but is understood to want Champions League football.
So, knowing Napoli want £36.4 million for Higuain, should Arsenal pay up and acquire him this summer?
We need a strike and the coach must stop only consider France player bt at least considered best players who will make change and scare goals.Higuain is good bt we need Vidal to assist alexis
