Jackson MartinezJackson Martinez has dropped a huge hint he’s keen on a move to Arsenal.

The Colombian forward has and continues to be heavily linked with a move to Arsenal after revealing he will be leaving Porto this summer.

Reports earlier this month claimed he had agreed to move to AC Milan, but Martinez, as well as his agent, dismissed this.

The 28-year-old has admitted he is yet to decide where he will be playing his football next season, and will only consider his future after the completion of the Copa America.

But his latest comments will be music to our ears after the striker issued a basic ‘come and get me plea’ to Arsenal by praising Arsene Wenger’s side:

‘I’ve always had two players I’ve admired above all others: Ronaldo and Henry. So I’m very happy he made that comment about me.

‘Arsenal are a great team, playing in one of the best leagues in the world.

‘I’m still waiting to see what the future holds. It’s not known yet but it will be known soon.

‘Whether it’s England, Italy or Spain, the most important thing is that my family and I both feel well and I can enjoy my football.’

£25 million is the fee Arsenal must pay to trigger Martinez’s release clause.

Wenger is believed to be in for a striker this summer and although AC Milan provide competition, the Gunners look to be in pole position following Martinez’s latest comments.

Martinez appears keen on a move to the Emirates, it’s now down to Wenger and co. to stump up the cash if they want to add the Colombian international to the squad this summer.

25 million is too much to pay for a guy who is unproven at a big club and will be approaching his 30th birthday after this coming season. Arsene is way too shrewd for that. I don’t think it’s good business and were not interested in him IMO.

I agree with you my guy, he is already 28, by the end of the season it will be 29.
I think that money is to much, assume it is around 25years wenger can buy him.

I tink Wenger should cash in on this deal.yes he is 28,bt can give something different from giroud. Can make the difference when giroud’s usual goal drought sets in.worth d gamble for me

Jackson has had a good season at 27/8,where was he? He hasn’t played in any competitive league, and then 25m,then we rely on him..much money though he is worth a gamble Aos, but we need a classic super striker like Benzema
