Having watched Arsenal slump to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Swansea, here are five things I learnt from the game:
1. Aaron Ramsey needs to be dropped
Arsenal didn’t play well collectively yesterday but Ramsey has struggled to rediscover his form which saw him being classed as one of the best midfielders in the world. The Welshman seems to be trying too hard and just can’t get anything right at the moment. He hasn’t played well in the past few games and Arsene Wenger should consider dropping him from the starting line-up and give someone else a go in midfield.
2. There is too much reliance on Alexis Sanchez
Once again Sanchez pops up to find the back of the net and put Arsenal in a winning position. The Chilean scored his eighth Premier League goal but those around him need to do the same because there will come a point where the former Barca man will have a dip in form.
3. Paul Merson was right
Merson’s ‘clueless’ comments caused a stir when Arsenal let a 3-0 lead slip but the former Gunner is right. Tactically, Wenger is out of date and this showed once again after leading 1-0 with only 15-20 minutes left to play.
4. Wenger left it too late
Wenger has a tendency to leave his substitutions too late and this proved to be the case once again. He decided to bring on Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott in the last 10 minutes to claw back a positive result but what can either player produce with so little time. If he’s going to make a change then don’t leave it too late.
5. Wenger must strengthen his back-line
Another two goals conceded today (13 in 11 Premier League games so far) and Wenger MUST strengthen his defensive options when the January transfer window opens – he can’t rely on Nacho Monreal to fill in for Laurent Koscielny.
wenger failure to sign a good midfielder an defender has led us to these heartbreaks.the team need little more strengthening.he hardly correct his mistakes as a big coach.

Wenger is a FAILURE,1 step Forward 10 steps backward that is who he his,can he compare his team to any europe best,build a team like chelsea and you can sit satisfied,Stingyness is another of his problem. moreover why did he loan out Jekinson when he has no back up..Foolish man,Noting for arsenal this season even top 4 is shaking..The first player Arsenal need badly is Sneiderlain then CD, midfilder,Cazolar needs rest badly.No attacker please or loan Sanogo and get Pedro so Walcot,giroud,welbeck,sanchez can share the attack.

Wenger is a stubborn man. For God sake! dont he knows that the tension of the game dictates when a change/substitution is ti be made? He has been clinged to late changes perhaps that’s why… doesnt he understand dynamics of the game. as a social Scientist he should know that as Market condition changes so is football techniques bcos it apparently deals with humans. I think gis brains are fatigue
